Course description:

APT Firearms Academy's SLR/Patrol Rifle One-Day Course provides a comprehensive foundation in the practical and effective use of self-loading rifles, including platforms like the AR-15, AK, M1A, Mini-14, and similar models. By the end of the course, students will have developed a solid understanding of the principles and fundamentals needed for proficient use of the SLR/Patrol Rifle in real-world scenarios.

 

This is a Missouri P.O.S.T. approved course

• Safety

• Sight picture

• Shooting positions

• Loading and unloading drills

• Stoppage clearing drills

• Close quarter use of the patrol rifle

 

Equipment needed:

• Rifle

• 400 rounds of ammunition

• 3 magazines

• Magazine carrier

• Hearing and eye protection

• Knee and elbow pads

• Sack lunch
