Course Description:

APT Firearms Academy's Pistol Caliber Carbine Express Course is a one-day condensed version of our Pistol Caliber Carbine Full Course.  While the Express Course will still teach the student how to maximize the carbine's potential, it was designed for those with hectic schedules who are unable to devote two full, consecutive days to attend the Full Course.  The class instructor will determine which techniques to focus on based on the needs and abilities of the students attending the class.  The Pistol Caliber Carbine Course is based on our Submachine Gun Course using a semi-automatic carbine.

 

This is a Missouri P.O.S.T. approved course

• Proper stance

• Sight picture

• Loading and unloading

• Stoppage clearing drills

• Transitions

• Use of force

 

Equipment needed:

• Rifle suggestions:  AR-9mm, AR-22, Kel-Tec SUB-2000, Beretta Storm, CZ Scorpion, Marian Camp Rifle, etc.

• 400 rounds of ammunition for carbine

• Tactical sling (the APT Pro Shop sells some for the Kel-Tec SUB-2000 and Colt)

• Pistol

• 100 rounds of ammunition for the pistol

• Belt, holster, magazine pouches

• Minimum of 3 magazines/speed loaders

• Hearing and eye protection

• Hat

• Foul weather gear

• Sack lunch
