Course description:

As the world becomes more volatile and unpredictable, high-profile individuals are increasingly becoming targets for threats and attacks.  Therefore, having a trained executive protection agent by their side not only ensures their safety, but also gives them peace of mind to focus on their work. 

 

APT Firearms Academy's Executive Protection Course (Level III) is an intensive training program designed for individuals whose goal is to become a highly effective executive protection agent.  This course will equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to protect their clients from potential risks and threats.  It will also teach them how to anticipate and effectively respond to any unforeseen situations, making it crucial training for aspiring executive protection agents.

This is the third level in APT's executive protection series of courses; each course building upon the other, providing a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects and techniques involved in executive protection.

The Level III course offers in-depth training in surveillance and counter-surveillance techniques, emphasizing collaboration within a larger team.  Participants will also learn essential protocols for maintaining security while on the move or in public settings.  This includes practical guidance on setting up at banquet events, managing rope lines, coordinating stage formations and other scenarios commonly encountered by principals.  Additionally, participants will gain invaluable knowledge on effectively responding to and mitigating attacks or threats during such events.

Moreover, this course will cover situational awareness techniques that are crucial for executive protection agents in constantly changing environments.  Participants will learn how to effectively assess potential threats and make quick decisions when protecting their clients.  This includes understanding the psychology behind threat actors and how to anticipate their actions.

We will further develop the precise positioning of the principal when mobile, allocate specific tasks to each team member during mobility, outline appropriate responses to an attack on the principal, and provide detailed instructions on safely evacuating the principal to a secure location during an attack.

The Level III course also includes tactical shooting training, which covers defensive shooting tactics, firearms safety, and manipulation, as well as team movement.  This course will provide participants with the necessary skills to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress situations.
