APT Firearms Academy, also known as Association of Professional Trainers, Inc. or simply APT Academy, was established by BJ Johnson back in 1984.  All of our professional instructors have decades of real-world experience in the subject matter they teach. 

APT's main location is our facility in Galena, MO (just outside of Springfield, MO).  We also have training facilities in  College Station, TX; Portage, WI; Kansas City, MO; and Kirksville, MO.  As an added convenience for students at our main location in Galena, MO, we have affordably priced onsite lodging facilities for those traveling in from out of town.
