Founded in 1984 by BJ Johnson, APT Firearms Academy (also known as the Association of Professional Trainers, Inc. or simply APT Academy) boasts instructors with decades of real-world experience in their fields.

 APT's main facility is located at 251 Holly Lane, Galena, MO, just outside of Springfield, MO. We also have training locations in Portage, WI; Kansas City, MO; and Kirksville, MO. To make it easier for students traveling to our Galena location, we offer affordable onsite lodging options.
